The TCG Boys strike again with “What You Need”. Coming off the heels of a stellar collab EP, Purgatory, Will Is Chillin’ and Rizzi Konway enlist the help of Rebel Legato on a brand new the three and a half minute single that feels wayyy too short. A catchy hook from Rizzi coupled with a rhyme scheme from Will that will make your head bob as he rides the beat is really “What You Need” to hear. Rebel slides in to close out the track with a very lax and vibey verse three.
On the subject of the track Rizzi stated that the session roots all the way back to 2017 or 2018. He added, “I made the beat and the hook when I was living by myself, and last year during sessions for my album that beat resurfaced somehow and the feeling to finish the track was unanimous.” Regardless of when or how the track came about, we are impressed here at Bad Luck.
If you haven’t had the chance to check out the collab tape - go do that. - Badluck Records
