R.Jones, started out singing R&B, and as a part of his group he has shared the stage with the likes of Public Announcement, Dru Hill, Destiny's Child, Jon B, Jody Watley, Celine Dion, Montell Jordan, R. Kelly and others. Shortly after connecting with hit-making producer Crazy C., who had just gotten saved, God began to knock on the door of his heart. During the recording of his first R&B album, the knock began to intensify, even to the point of prophecy. A couple of months later, he and the other group members were saved and giving God the Glory; joining a Spirit-filled church and recording their first Gospel release entitled "Soulology: The Genesis".
His ministry performances include opening slots at secular concerts of Morris Day, Keith Sweat and newcomer Musiq to minister the Gospel. Local churches large and small have been blessed by his ministry as well; such as his home church Windsor Village UMC, St. Agnes Church, Cathedral of Joy Church, Harvest Time Church, Second Baptist, the holy hip hop awards show in Atlanta and spoken word ministries in Jacksonville, Florida.
