Road Dogs Band

Road Dogs Band

BandRock

We (The Dogs) are primarily a classic/southern rock band. Our 5 peice band takes classic songs and “dog them up” a bit so they sound like us. Add to that the fun loving personalities of the band members and now you have a party. Give us a listen, or come check a show and we think you'll agree.

Biography

The Road Dogs Band (aka: "The Dogs") were an offshoot of two Chicagoland bands. The Black Tree Band and Paradox. In the fall of 2008 The Dogs finally found the combination of members that really seemed to click and make the project both fun and viable. Two from Black Tree, two from Paradox, and one they searched all over the world for. (OK, the world being northern Illinois.)
The Dogs, have put together a line-up that is expected to cause quite a stir going forward.

The current membership has a wide ranging musical background and has an abundence of experience in the music business ranging from the 50's thru the current time period. Members have played in: Rock, R & B, Motown, Blues, Oldies, Gospel, Dance, Studio and Tribute bands. This wide range of experience helps The Dogs approach their music with the diversity of the member's backgrounds allowing them to tackle just about any kind of music, with the ability to do material with either time-period precission or uniquely to their own style. Either way the quality is there and fans seem to enjoy whichever style The Dogs feature for any given number.
