Roadgeek' music is a core creation of local artist / musician Michael Shanks, fleshed out ‘live’ with friends. Michael’s first Independent album, 2012’s "Sugarloaf" took him 53 weeks to record in his spare time. This between paid gigs as a digital game designer, clip creator; Michael sang, played and Produced every instrument from Guitar to Saxophone.

The highly individual engaging material on this record was critically well received more-so, being equally matched in Michael’s creation of an inordinately original clip.

The confronting clip was the dual 2012 / 2013 Soundkilda Winner- 'Best Music Video' and 'Best Independent Video', in a field of over 90 clips including those of Gotye and Alpine.

‘The Strangler’s’ have selected Roadgeek to open for them at their forthcoming Melbourne show.
