Bio
ROBE- pronounced Row-Bee was originally formed in August of 2007. The original members played for about a year. The band started off as most do, practicing countless hours, numerous conversations about song choices, and the occasional private party and backyard barbecue here and there for little or no money.
As the band became more finely tuned and their song library started to grow, so did the size of the gigs. Now playing larger private parties, multi-band shows and occasional opening gigs, the bands chemistry was really starting to grow. The band's love for music was obviously there, but as the crowds grew in size, so did their passion for playing live events. Then in July of 2008 the band got their first "real" gig. It was everything they expected and more. ROBE won the 2009 Q104 Country Wars competition, opened for artists such as Jimmy Wayne and Craig Morgan, and played shared the main stage with acts like Colt Ford, Jack Ingram, Eli Young. ROBE is also dedicated to writing original music and creating their own sound and style.
