Hailing from the small town of Colchester, Essex, Robbie Sea is a young lad going to war with the manufactured, auto-tuned parasites that are sucking the life out of todays pop music. By combining infectious melodies & harmonies, with funky drums & guitars, this new brit-funk sound is most definitely a force to be reckoned with! Every song tells a story, better yet, a real story. No made up songs about love & heartache, no cryptic heard-it-all-before lyrics to help send you to sleep, no auto-tune bullshit to trick people into thinking he can sing, & best of all, no fake American accents in sight! Put simply, it's real music, made by real people, for real people.
With his self-titled 5-track EP being made available to stream online in November 2011, Robbie Sea has since appeared on YouTube channels SBTV & Back2BasicsTV, played his debut show supporting Van Susans at The O2, recorded & filmed several live videos for his own YouTube channel, & is currently stockpiling new material ready for a future release.
With YouTube hits, Twitter followers, & Facebook 'Likes' climbing by the day, 2012 is looking to be an exciting year for Robbie Sea, & he is keen to take his live show to any stage or town, no matter how big or small or far away it may be, to show people what he's all about.
