Biography

Rob Burton is a guitarist hailing from the Hudson Valey, New York area. Starting at the age of 14, his extreme practice habits were evident even then. Early influences include Yngwie Malmsteen, George Lynch and a handful of the "80s hair bands". Playing in various metal acts in the area in the 90s pushed Rob's name into the local scene. In 1994 Rob withdrew from the scene into his apartment to begin "the real practice". Spending on average 10 hours a day for the next ten years on the instrument is how he developed his extreme guitar style. During which time he completed 3 demo Cd's, and one full length cd.

Rob's chops are reminiscent of players like Paul Gilbert, Michael Romeo and Michael Angelo to name a few. His strict attention to accuracy and precision has earned him great respect in the guitar world.
