Biography

I guess it all starts with the classic "picked up a cheap guitar in a pawn shop" line , but it could never end there. I've always felt a sometimes too strong connection to music , evoking emotions that were inconvenient at times. But I'd say it's just a testament to my true calling ... As a kid it was my dad's : Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Stones, and Eagles - the "Old Man Music" list goes on. Then growing up I got into the Grunge Rock period of the 90's : Nirvana , Pearl Jam etc ... which later progressed to Rap : (old) Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Biggie ... and then onto Sublime, Marley and Dave Matthews of course ... but at this point in my life - Jazz was really grabbing me. Mostly because I was getting into guitar and learning massive amounts of covers. So I started transcribing Wes Montgomery, Pat Methany, Scofield, and Kurt Rosenwinkle ... aside from listening to Miles and Joe Pass etc... Enough of the boring stuff - I entered University of Florida pursuing a BFA, but had my heart set on Berklee School of Music at this point. While at U.F. I wrote madly, cheesy lyrics , but aren't they all when we first started? Played shows at the Shamrock Pub and other local venues in Gainesville ... After a year of partying there , I said "screw it" went back to MIA and hooked up with Producer Pete Masitti (Hootie and the Blow Fish , and Julio Inglesias Jr.) Together we banged out a 3-song DEMO. I immediatley flew out to L.A. to shop it at the TAXI music convention. I met so many people, and leaned so much but only to be discouraged when I flew back to MIA without a deal of some sort. So ... some time later after playing some large veues such as: the Tampa Blues Festival, Cleavlander Hotel on South Beach, Everglades National Awarness concert and Having a song of mine, "Runaway" Featured on an "All My Children " episode, I'm ready to jump to the next level. This is now my life.

Lyrics

Irish Voodoo

Written By: Robby Hunter

Twice now I've let your lips go
You know those eyes kill me so slow
If you only knew, the glue
I've got myself into
And when this song kisses your ears
I hope, the tight rope suddenly Appears and all your fears of heights ... float away
So listen baby to the words I speak
This Foolish Boy has fell pretty deep
All his reservations drift out to sea

I've Just got to tell you
You've been on my mind
Baby I need a rescue
You've got me so entiwined

Tell me why, my lungs run dry
Every time I breathe your name
I'm staggered by, the little things you
Do and put me through that
Turns my head, turns my head around

So maybe, baby you got me twirled Around your little fingers and through your curls, but that don't mean I'll be an imposition
I try and try to be apropo , but your gorgeous legs just won't let go
How did you get me into this position
It's 3 o'clcok in the afternoon
I hope to hear your sweet voice soon
You're killing me with this Irish Voodoo Condition

I've Just got to tell you
You've been on my mind
Baby I need a rescue
You've got me so entiwined

Tell me why, My lungs run dry
Every time I breathe your name
I'm staggered by the little things you
Do and put me through that
Turns my head, turns my head around

Shoes

Written By: Robby Hunter

G,Give me something
Something that I can use
You got me walking
In my Running Shoes
Just keep on talking
You think that I can't choose
Between the Rock and
Your B,B,Baby Blues

Maybe if I hold onto to something I think its healing baby if you dont go throwing your claws around
Latley I've been told about the cold I find the feeling makes me warm inside, just got to get off the ground, the ground

I'm going out tonight
Don't bother with the light
Something inside my throat
A drink I think will coat
I scream and shout and fight
You're right, You're wrong, You're right
We got our battle scars
Tattoos and dingy bars
We got our music scenes
Red Necks and Fairy Queens
You know I like it hear
And heres the final fear
I've got em laced up tight
I'm gonna run tonight
I'm gonna run tonight

Maybe if I hold onto to something I think its healing baby if you dont go throwing your claws around
Latley I've been told about the cold I find the feeling makes me warm inside, just got to get off the ground, the ground
