I am strictly an amateur who has used songwriting as a hobby. I have written close to 60 songs, but only recently have tried to do something with them. I think my melodies are far superior to most of what is heard today, but I am not always so sure about my lyrics. Of course, my view is subjective; only the people listening to my offerings will determine if my subjective view is valid.

I like everything from Hawaiian, Gospel, Swing, Country and most all other genres and have attempted to write good songs reflecting those likes. So, don't expect music from me that can be pigeonholed into one narrow category.

If I write a country song with George Jones in mind, I hope that it will be one that could also find a comfortable home with the likes of Michael Boulre.
