Bio

I never took myself serious as a singer/songwriter until 2003 when I gave my life to Christ. I didn't know any Christian music at the time, so I started writing and recording my own songs.

Altogether I've written over 30 songs. I've seen the Lord bless, as a couple of those songs have been played and sung in churches outside of my home church by different praise and worship leaders.

In December of 2004 I lost my mother to lung cancer. In April of 2005 I began my own battle with cancer, and by June of 2006 I was declared cancer free, praise God!!

I had seen God do so many things during that time period. It is still so amazing to me. This was the period in my life that became sort of "defining moments" for me. They made me who I am today. My faith in God was solidified through this experience, and I want to share that faith with as many as I can.

Since then I've hit the ground running.

In 2006 I played acoustic guitar and keyboards for a Christian rock band called "Dust." We won the 2006 Crawford County Fair/92.7 WQEL's Battle of the Bands. We also had a demo that we made of Phil Keaggy's song, "Sunday School" played on 92.7 WQEL, which is a secular rock'n'roll radio station.

Dust disbanded in late 2006, and I decided to keep going forward doing what God has called me to do. I started taking gigs as a solo, acoustic act.

Since then I've ministered and performed at various coffee houses, Christian "Night" Clubs, and churches as well as my home church here in Galion, Ohio. Not to mention I had the distinct privilage and honor of serving as an MC for Stage 4 Ministries during Galion's Oktoberfest 2007.

In November of 2007 I was awarded the artist of the month award by the Ohio Valley Christian Music Association, which for me is a really great honor considering all the talented, gifted singers, songwriters, and musicians associated with the OVCMA.

Seeing God move in my life and in the lives of those around me is what motivates me and inspires me as a minister, artist, and a songwriter. I know that I do not have a career in music, nor am I seeking one. But I do have a ministry in music and that's my desire is to come and minister and to speak, preach, teach, sing, and pray as the Lord leads me.
