Lyrics

In A Dream

Written By: Robert Farmer

In a dream, you came,
you came to me, last night sleeping.
What were you saying,
or was I willing you there?

Gotta believe, somethings out there,
gotta know, you loved me too!

In a dream, you came,
you came to me, last night sleeping.
What were you saying,
or was I willing you there?

Gotta believe, somethings out there,
gotta know, you loved me too!

You said to me, have you had this feeling too?
You know their there, you see their light,
feel their breath. Transparency, burning eyes,
hearts of fire, hearts on fire, hearts on fire, hearts
on fire! aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!

I see their faces growing old, was it all they hoped for?
Did they live their dream? Did they hug their children?
Did they kiss their ? Back for some unfinished business.
In a dream..............do you think they dream?

What do THEY dream of?

Angel On The Rooftop

Written By: Robert Farmer

What are you doing to me, on this dreaded night?
I've seen that look,
and I blame it on the moonlight.

Here I stand, with my heart in my hand,
wondering if, I'll ever see you again.

Angel on the rooftop.....Need that Angel,
to save me again.

What went so wrong?
Can this be happening again?
What could be so wrong? Won't you
Come back home-where you belong, where you belong.

Caught up in the cold,
I'm on my knees,
say a prayer for love,
before I grow old.

Angel on the rooftop, I need that Angel,
to save me again,

Angel on the rooftop, Angel to save me again.
Angel on the rooftop, Angel to save me again.
Angel on the rooftop. Angels on the rooftop.

repeat.........

Coming Back To Philadelphia

Written By: Robert Farmer

He's coming back to Philadelphia.
He's coming back to his hometown.

He's been away, chasing his dreams,
Found L.A.'s not quite what it seems.....

Got his big break in Philadelphia,
became a hero in this town,
taught so many meaning of courage,
and the leap of faith to believe you can.....

out of town, missing you, missing love, missing love,
coming back, coming back to Philadelphia
yeaaah, yeahhh!

Got his big break in Philadelphia,
immortalized in this town,
They built this statue of Rocky Balboa,
left it for the world to see.
Not a politicion, or a King or Queen,

Dont know when, he'll have this chance again,
to reunite with his best friend.

out of town, missing you, missing love, missing love,
coming back, coming back to Philadelphia
yeaaah, yeahhh!

repeat chorus

Distant Lights

Written By: Robert Farmer

The distant lights shine over the hill,
I feel the night growing still,
And the children play on bikes across the tracks,
Young girls laugh and challenge what's next.

I need your love tonight
I want your love.

I feel the heat in your eyes
I see you look at me that way.
I feel the love from your heart.
Noone else could ever take your place.

The city streets, the city lights are on tonight,
I see you there, your long dark hair, let's go out tonight.

I need your love tonight,
I want your love.

yea, yea.

The train still runs thru my hometown,
and church bells ring each day,
to know your there thru thick and thin,
and see you look at me that way.

I need your love tonight,
I want your love.

yea, yea.

SEEING RED

Written By: Robert Farmer

yeah.......yeah.......yeah

A bloody day in IRAQ today,
another man's life taken away,

An arrogant man with an empty head,
running America from his bed.
Surrounds himself with high price minds,
no tellin what they will decide this time!

Every day I'm seeing red, every day I'm seeing red,
America's seeing red.
The world is seeing, seeing red today yeah....yeah

The world is seeing, seeing red today!

You see the world seeing red. seeing pain.
see the world searching in vain.
the world is seeing, the world is seeing,
world is seeing red today.

there comes a time...........
no more wars......who's going to lay down his life?
no more.........no more........no more wars.

yeah, yeah, yeah..............................

WHY CAN'T YOU SEE

Written By: Robert Farmer

WHY CAN’T YOU SEE BY ROBERT FARMER
I don't care what you say,
I don't care who you think you know.
you keep on hurting me, shattered dreams and fairytales.

Was I just a toy sent to fill your void?
What love?

You've been wrong before
and now your heart just turned to stone.

Chorus
Why can't you see what you mean to me.
Why can't you see
Why can't you see, what you mean to me.
What you mean to me.

ooooooaaaaaahhhh
ooooooaaaaaahhhh

I gave to you everything, I wanted you to dance and sing.
You made me promises that you don't keep,
You told me that you'd love me always.

And now I wonder about the secrets you kept,
I'm home alone and tonight I wept.

I think its time just to set love free
this life long, this life long, this life loooooong-this darkside.

Chorus 2
Why can't you see what you mean to me?
Why can't you see what you mean to me?
Why can't you see-Why can't you see,
What you mean toooooo meeee!
Why can't you see-why can't you see, what you mean to meeeee!!!!!!
