"Unsung hero"

Unsung hero:

I’ve known Robert Ferguson for probably more years than I care to remember and during the early formative years where as a band member of his group Snook, I saw the beginnings of a rare talent emerging from Robert which, as the years rolled by, grew and grew. I’ve know a lot of musicians over the years and a lot of their music has faded with time. However, Robert’s old songs remain as fresh and innovative as they day they were written. I always knew that given the chance in a recording studio Robert’s song writing and imaginative mind, would use all the latest equipment and capitalise on the advancement of technology.

Thankfully Robert has invested in the latest recording equipment and as such has used this equipment to his advantage. He has not only stunned all his friends and colleagues, but also cyberspace as well. Due to My Space, Robert’s music is now reaching an untapped and wider audience. Moreover, with the help of all the latest recording equipment, a whole range of new and (I should state) different songs have emerged. Robert is constantly buzzing with new and exciting ideas. The world for Robert Ferguson has gone from black and white to amazing Technicolor and every day a different song is born.

Robert Ferguson played in a number of local home grown bands in his original home town of Alloa in Clackmannanshire Central Scotland and was sought by other bands outside the county when they were caught short by their own band member letting them down. But Robert has not only a brilliant musical brain he has a brilliant business brain as well and now runs his own business which he promotes all around the world.

Robert is probably one of those unsung heroes of whom given the musical break earlier would certainly have grabbed it with the proverbial two hands, however, now that he has his own recording studio, I’m quite sure that it won’t be too long before we are hearing more of his recordings. He already has a growing fan base not only in Central Scotland but in other parts of the country as well, and, as I pointed out earlier, his songs are reaching a new fan base through the internet.

Bio

I am a 51 yr old Scotsman that has written songs since the age of 5? Strange though it seems but it is true.
However since i managed to purchase and install a recording studio at home I am writing prolifically all types of pop songs at a drop of a hat; and i would like more people to hear my songs.

My recent 4 songs are ready by next week and i firlmy believe that each one of them has more than enough potential to make The Music Industry sit up and listen that there is magical songwriters still out here? [you know the big fish in the pond that never gets caught?]

My infulences are musical as well as life in general, someone says something, or I read an article in a paper or magazine, something I fell strongly about; or just make believe.
In music I must say as a boy I was heavily infulenced by The Beatles, Brian Wilson, The Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Ray Davies, Hurricane Smith, Mungo Gerry, Motown, Bacharach & David, Neil Diamond, Neil Sedaka, Elton John and Bernie Taupin, David Bowie, T Rex and many many more..

My scheme of things is purely to write songs which I do, and will continue to do regardless if no one ever wants to record my music. I do feel it would be fantastic for my songs to be out there?

I guess i would be thrilled to hear the Postman whistle one of my songs; now that would make my day.
