Bio
Singer/songwriter Robert Herrera performs a variety of genres, with spontaneous selection. The listener is exposed to a broad spectrum of influences, with Soul, Folk, and Reggae shaping the overall Acoustic sound. A multi-faceted artist, Robert's voice has been likened to Ben Harper, Sam Cooke, and Bradley Nowell. His guitar accompaniment has been described as both rhythmic and experimental.
Robert calls Santa Rosa, Ca. home, playing over 150 shows a year, and totaling over 75 venues in Sonoma County alone. He has also been involved in many Bay Area projects and band incarnations.
The future holds many projects on the horizon for Robert. With two albums nearing completion: "Sketches", and one in production, "Lies & Alibi's," a career as a recording artist is only beginning. A vibrant, unique live performance and a bevy of recordings in the near future, both combine to make Robert Herrera an artist to watch.
