Robert Taylor provides a wonderfully nostalgic sound with nothing more than his voice and acoustic guitar. Audiences become addicted to his poetic words and catchy vocal melodies, whch are sure to hit home with all listeners.


Robert Taylor began playing guitar at the age of 8 and has been writing songs since the age of 14, a which time he began playing cafes in central New Jersey, where he was raised. Addicted to music and the emotional engagement of the live atmosphere, he would find himself becoming a fan of local music and would go on to play many of the venues where he was most inspired by other artists in his highschool years. As a member of several local bands in the New Jersey/New York area, he has performed at such legendary venues as Don Hill's, Sin'e, The Knitting Factory, The Pussycat Lounge, and The Luna Lounge. He is currently attending college and using all of his free time to tour the U.S.


Robert Taylor's first EP as a solo artist is due out in August of 2007.

Set List

Normally performing from 30 minutes to 2 hours, Robert Taylor's repertoire includes a set of up to 20 songs over 80% of which are original. Taylor enjoys tossing in a few covers from artists who he admires and are well known by all audiences. Some covered artists include The Shins, Bob Dylan, Beck, Bjork, Donovan, and The Beatles.
