Robert Thomas

When I was thirteen I picked up the guitar and haven't looked back since. Since the start I have loved playing music and expressing my own personal spin on things through songwriting. Generally my writing reflects on and discusses very personal and emotional moments throughout my own life and the people who's stories I'm lucky enough to hear about. I've always had a passion for listening to and learning from the people around me and these situations inevitably find their way into my music. I like to vary song subjects between anything from politics, loss, guilt, hypocrisy and of course love just to name a few.
When I graduated high school I headed for music school in New York City and made the most of a life changing experience. My thirst for learning and getting to know new people finally had a healthy pool that I could draw from. I grew up a small town boy so the change was quick and everlasting.
Looking for a compromise between my small town beginnings and the craziness of NYC I eventually moved to the seacoast of New Hampshire. I've found it to be a good mix of nature and nightlife. The music scene is very much alive there and has only wet my appetite for travelling and finding more venues, places, people and of course stories.
