Robert exerts a laid back, melodic, folk style that is reflective of influences such as James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Rush, Jerry Jeff Walker, Townes VanZandt, Nick Drake and the best folk musicians past and present.

A real life "gypsysongman" ...In his younger days he often found himself hitching rides, jumping trains and traveling across the United States, Canada and Mexico to play music with friends and apprenticing to great guitar masters such as Leo Kottke, Patrick Sky, Dave Van Ronk and countless others as he performed in coffee houses, bars and anywhere that music could be found.

After a hiatus from music for many years, 2009 found him singing and playing guitar full-time again and he has performed coast-to-coast from San Francisco to Miami.

His songs have been aired on many radio stations as well as a month long daily television airing of one of his live performances in San Francisco last September. Robert and his singing patner, the incredible Brooks Hunnicutt were chosen as finalists at the acclaimed "Eddie's Attic" in Decatur for their performance of several of Robert's original compositions.

Robert has started a new chapter in his life as a folksinger/musician —one where he intends to establish himself as a songwriter and to genuinely connect with people through his music. “My hope is that people would be able to identify with my songs,” Robert said. “Music is powerful, inspiring, thought-provoking, nostalgic, romantic and has a way to touch hearts. . I love being a part of something that can communicate meaning to so many people.”
