Born to a musical family, with deep roots in the rich New Orleans musical scene, Robert's Grandfather,A hugely popluar guitarist that hosted his own radio show in the 1930's, and his Uncle, local recording artist and club performer Mauricio David..Robert continues in his family footsteps. An accomplished Saxophonist in High School, Robert was selected as one of the three best Alto Sax players in the state. Numerous scholarships were offered , finally attending Austin Peay State University in Clarksville Tn, Performing as a member of Dr. Aaron Schmidt's famed jazz collegians, not long after, Robert began a career as a playing musician,becoming one of the most sought after session players in Nashville Tn. While doing session work, Robert began to branch out, forming his own band and playing Jazz at some of the most notable venues in the Southeast, among them were Mare - Bulls, The Hyatt Regency Lounge..the Blue club as well as Boots Randolphs' Legendary club in Historic Printers Alley in Nashville, Robert began to expand his talents, becoming vocalist of his group ..this led to numerous offers to perform in NYC, and around the globe..eventually performing at festivals and venues throughout Canada, Europe and Asia.Robert has played venues such as , The Blue Note, Jazz Irridium, Standard, and Cotton Club in NYC, The Moulin Rouge in Paris as well as Hotels and lounges around the world...Robert , starred in his own show for 7 yrs,at various caberet theatres .."Sinatra, the man and his music" based on the 1965 TV special of he same name was critically acclaimed whenever it was performed...where ever you may see him remember.. All music is projected through a professional audio-system(which is provided!) to ensure that though it is a one man show, the sound is as full as if there were a complete band!
