Robin wowed by playing SoftWing across Canada by train from coast to coast. Robin received special thanks for her production input on the 2014 Grammy Award winning album, Throw a Penny in The Wishing Well  by Jennifer Gasoi and cowrote There is a Garden, a documentary on Iran with award winning filmmaker, Masoud Raouf  that premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival ,2014. She has performed with with Montreal artists like Patrick Watson,  Juno Award winning Mike Rud, Roddy Ellias, Nico Beki and Paulo Ramos  and was a member of Kalmunity Vibe Collective (2003-2005), as well as the experimental women’s choir Cheour Maha (1995-present)

SoftWing features Juno Award nominee Annabelle Chvostek  as well as young Brazilian guitar sensation, Rommel Ribeiro. In Bahia Brazil, Robin worked with some of the most celebrated musicians like Gerónimo Montserrat  and the spectacular Orkestro Rumpilezz (Who tour with Lenine, Gilberto Gil and Joshua Redman).

Whether it is the spirit journey of Noah’s Arms or Robin’ s nod to the Philadelphia Sweet Soul Sound in Till We Try, or the Capoeira style circle dance of Cheguei Lá or the Afro-CaribbeanDoo-Wap of New Rocksteady, this album will take you from heartache to upliftment.

SoftWing, as Robin explains it means; “The wings that take flight from the revolution within”.  “I want this music to awaken people to who they are in their own deepest desire for connection to the source. Then meaningful change can happen.”
