Bio
Robin Lee is known for packing up and hitting the road to tour across the country in her pick-up truck, playing clubs, festivals, and open mics along the way. Names such as Seattle's Blue Moon, Dubliner, Kate's, and Latitude 76 to name a few. Born with a traveling bone, she's also played at well-known open mics from coast to coast such as Jesse's in Long Island all the way to Santa Rosa's Ace in the Hole and The Burren in Massachusetts.
Robin's songwriting is edgy with a touch of outlaw country. Lyrically, she doesn't hold back, which means some of her songs are radio-friendly while others may not be. There are many musical directions that she takes with her songs, from country to cocktail. In November 2007, Robin teamed up with producer Ray Peterssen and Strate Sound Studios in San Diego, CA. They put together a team of some of the best sidemen in town. The result was the April 2008 release of "Sleep When I'm Dead."
