For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain Philippians: Chapter 1:21

Robin Louise (Patton) Harris was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was at the age of 7 when she first noticed her love for singing. Living on a farm directly off 86th street, she would often run to the edge of the woods and talk and sing to God. As a child, she made a promise that if He got her through the circumstances that she faced she would praise His name forever.

In 1988, Robin joined the Navy, and auditioned to become a female vocalist. She was awarded the billet and began attending the Navy School of Music located in Little Creek, Virginia. There she was trained to sing and perform many styles of music to foster patriotism and promote unity in our country. Robin enjoyed her career which set her before, Foreign Dignitaries, National/State and Local government officials, and many civilian concert/festival venues. -“It was truly an honor and privilege to serve alongside such talented men and women.” -“I took great pride in serving my country.”

Shortly after she began to settle into her career, she was stricken with a debilitating disease that robbed her of her health, her voice, and eventually her singing career. With no family close by and few friends to depend on, she realized how far she had drifted from her promise and relationship with God. Devastated, hurting, and lost Robin turned to God for refuge and forgiveness. After a series of treatments, much prayer, and support of new friends from her Church, Robin began to trust and walk more in her faith than in her circumstances. Each day she read God’s word she grew, healing mentally, spiritually, and physically.

Today, by God’s grace, Robin’s voice, health, and strength have been restored. She admits that she is stronger and more driven than ever before. With her new purpose Robin has committed to sharing her gift and what God has done for her through song, and to use her talent for the glory of God alone.

In 2010, Robin was led to take a few years off to write and compose her own songs. Songs that sprang out of the circumstances and trials of life, and the reality of God’s grace in the midst of it all. Songs that will minister to a broad spectrum of people who need to hear of God’s amazing grace.

What started out as a childhood of disappointments, and a young life of devastation, has turned into a new journey that is totally driven and motivated by her love for God and his purpose for her life.
