Robin Terrazas was born in Houston, Texas, grew up in Mississippi, lived in Louisiana and Georgia after high school and is currently residing in San Antonio. She found her love for music at an early age listening to her dad's records such as Elvis Presley, B.B. King, and many motown greats. At the same time, she was lisening to the funk of the 70s on the radio. Later, she discovered her own influences of Bonnie Raitt, Etta James and The Eagles. Starting out in school and church choirs, Robin worked her way up to performing lead roles, recording back-up vocals for Dr. John and Marva Wright, opening for Jean Luc Ponte and Robert Cray and eventually writing her own music that blends blues, soul and jazz. Her new CD "Let's Take Two" was released in January 2012.
