2009 saw Robot Disaster release Guitars are Overrated and Boy on indie label Gash Digital (run by former Ibiza Rocks residents Gash DJs) with a package of remixes from the hottest producers from across clubland. This was followed by a live EP released in June 2010.
Second single Boy, released in December 2009, received radio airplay from Kissy Sell Out on BBC Radio 1, BBC6 Music, NME Radio and Xfm London and Manchester and received 4/5 rating in Artrocker Magazine. The video was playlisted by NMEtv & Q TV as well as featuring on Cruel TV in Japan. Fred Perry (Subsonic) & Converse Music have also run features on the band.
Profile support slots have included Calvin Harris, two sold out Skins parties in Bristol, Chew Lips, Band of Skulls, Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip, Late of the Pier, Dirty Pretty Things, Band of Skulls, So So Modern, We Have Band and A1Bassline to name a few. The band took part in the In The City festival in Manchester, Hungry Pigeon Festival in
Manchester, Boom festival in Bath in 2009 and Little London Fields Festival in 2010
Next single Electric Shocks, produced by Sean Genockey (Futureheads, Baddies). will be released in Autumn 2010. The band are currently working on their debut album.
