Bio

In the midst of the break-up of the pop/gutter punk band, called the AOK’s, Robot Juice was created. Robot Juice (at that time remained unnamed) started out as Kenta Aoki and Roger Lambert working out songs together in the comfort of the Lambert’s basement.

Soon after, Harrison, Roger’s brother, caught on to the sound that was spewing out of his basement and hastily picked up his bass guitar and filled in the missing tone. Since then he has been a crucial part in organizing songs and creating seamless transitions and decorative ornaments.

The majority of the songwriting comes from Kenta’s vision of what he thinks music should be – insightful, progressive, spiritual, and above all, genuine – pulling musical ideas and influences from such artists like Radiohead, Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Billy Joel, The Vines, and at times, his classical violin roots. Using his 6-stringed machine and pedals, he is able to create organic (apposed to synthetic) sounds, while trying to convey a positive message of global change.

Roger, the drummer, can be viewed as the powerhouse of this band, creating the contrasting simplistic and intricate grooves along with supplying limitless amounts of stage presence.
