Biography

Hightide Trio is a local modern rock band that is always striving to keep its live show unique. They play a wide variety of cover songs from multiple decades to entertain diverse crowds.

The band has hit the Indy scene with an impressive repertoire of original and cover music, appearing at 8 Seconds Saloon, Ale Emporium, and The Rathskellar Biergarten. At the 2005 Indianapolis 500, Hightide Trio was pleased to share the XM Radio Main Stage with rock legends The Black Crowes.

Most recently on the Indianapolis circuit, Hightide Trio enjoyed weekly gigs on the deck at Champps Americana North for their 2009 Summer Concert Series, playing every Thursday night from May through September.

The band’s demo, recorded at 16 Ton Studios in Nashville, TN, has received acclaim from Coran Capshaw (Manager, Bonnaroo Music Festival), Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews Band), and David Golden (Epic Records).

The band’s original music has been featured on Indy-based Z99.5 FM and X-103 FM and live on Fox 59AM’s morning news broadcast. They have even spent years playing the collegiate scene. In West Lafayette, they have permeated the fraternity scene over the past eight years. In Bloomington, they have enjoyed shows at The Bluebird and Uncle Festers.
