Sisters Robyn and Ryleigh Gillespie are a talented new country/pop duo hailing from Langley, B.C. Their sound is a combination of modern, youthful pop influences blended with traditional country elements of acoustic instruments, meaningful lyrics, and sibling harmonies. Their original songs describe the honest, everyday feelings of their generation, in a way that listeners of any age can identify with.
Their live show is an energetic, entertaining mix of songs by crowd favorites (Dixie Chicks, Miranda Lambert, and even a bit of classic rock) blended with songs off their debut album. They perform in a full band setting with top-notch players in a presentation thats perfect for all-age events such as fairs, festivals, and fundraisers.
Robyn is emerging as a talented songwriter, having written all of the tracks on the sisters EP Love Always. Ryleighs dynamic vocal range and strong stage presence forms the perfect balance with Robyns singing and playing. Combined with the girls quick sibling wit, the result is a highly entertaining experience.
Robyn and Ryleighs performance highlights include the 2010 Olympic Celebration, Merritt Mountainfest, and the BC Country Music Awards Show.
