Biography

Newlywed musicians Glen and Robyn met virtually online and decided to meet in person after one instant message (hence the original song named “Perfect Match”). In April of 2007 Glen rode his Harley into the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, married Robyn, she hopped on the back and they rode off into the sunset. They are both musicians and are now collaborating on original songs. Glen has played in bands for 40 years, and Robyn began playing classical guitar at the age of 14. Glen's lead guitar has been compared to Gary Moore with a touch of Steely Dan, and his voice has been dubbed as “almost Glenn Frey mixed with Joe Walsh”. Robyn's vocal sound has been described as smooth, relaxing and serene, coming from a very deep place.

Fear of Falling

Written By: Robyn Roberts and Glen Maldonado

FEAR OF FALLING
Words and Music By:
Robyn Roberts and Glen Maldonado

Verse1
I think it’s time to take a little chance
Just forget the fear of falling into romance
I think it’s time to open up that door
Just pick up your feet and walk across that dance floor

Chorus
Open your eyes and float into the melody
Become intoxicated, Let the music set you free
Throw yourself completely straight into surrender
The secret is to dance away the fear……
Of falling……

Verse 2
I think it’s time to take a little chance
Just forget the fear of falling into romance
Don’t ever start to think about if you will see the rain
Don’t lock your heart away just to guard it from the pain

Chorus
Open your eyes and float into the melody
Become intoxicated, Let the music set you free
Throw yourself completely straight into surrender
The secret is to dance away the fear……
Of falling……

Verse 3
I think it’s time to take a little chance
Just forget the fear of falling into romance
The magic starts by reaching out for things that make you smile
Each dance is not wasted, every one becomes worthwhile….

Chorus
Open your eyes and float into the melody
Become intoxicated, Let the music set you free
Throw yourself completely straight into surrender
The secret is to dance away the fear……
I dare you……

Outro
I think it’s time to take a little chance
Just forget the fear of falling into romance…

Might Be Broken

MIGHT BE BROKEN
Words and Music By:
Glen Maldonado and Robyn Roberts

(Guitar instrumental intro)

Verse 1
I might be broken, I might be down
I might be tired, but I’m not on the ground

I might feel worn out, I might feel blue
Have you ever been lonely? Well I’ve been there, too….

Well I always feel overworked, I always feel poor
I sort of feel empty, and I’m also insecure

But who’s been there for you?…..who’s your friend?….
I’ve been comin here a long time,…and I’ll be back again…

Verse 2
Well I might be……broken, I might be down
I might be real tired, but I’ m not on the ground

I might have been crazy, but I’m not insane,
Sometimes I’ve been lazy, you might have heard me complain

Well if somethin’s missin, I might be to blame
I might be angry, but it turns out the same,

Even if I’m broken, even if I’m down
Well that’s just somethin…..you know I’ll always be around

Outro
I might feel ………used up, I might feel alone
But you know I’m the one thing, you can always count on….

I might be Broken, I might be down
Well that’s just somethin….you know I’ll always be around

(Guitar lead solo outro)

I might be broken……
But I’ll always be around.
