Roc B

Coming out of New Haven Connecticut, Born January 30th 1991 as Ocie “Roc B” Rivers . He is a father Of 3 (A’niyah, Ocie & Kwess) and last and only son of 4 original siblings. He grew up in the Church playing any instruments he could get his hands on and singing male leads in the choir. He graduated in the top 10% of his class of 2009. Under the mentorship of gospel producer and Grammy Nominated Larry Young the talents of this young mind expanded. Roc B started rapping/singing/composing music with “Goon$quad” in early 2010 under the production of Greg “P-Wyld” Moye. In the same year the introduction of two family businesses (P-Wyld Productions/Films & MoyeBoy Entertainment) helped push the careers of those affiliated. Doing shows in multiple states and the monthly showcases at the legendary “Toads Place” he gained the support of D-Block A&R rep “Poobs” In July Of 2010. Grasping The Ear Of DJ’s Such As : Dj Big Mike, Dj OP, Dj S-Boogie, Dj Craig G,Dj Bink B ,& Others.
Since 2010 Roc B has dropped 2 mix tapes (“Elm City Stories Vol.1” & “Legacy Vol.1”) with videos to follow. Still looking for the energy needed he helped form a group called “D.M.G” (Drama$ide Musik Group) In mid 2012 with the help of fellow friends in the local area. Since then both “Goon$quad” & “D.M.G” Have Collaborated into a franchise for not only music but all entertainment aspects. They became opening acts that traveled near and far for the recognition which to date has helped to grow a substantial fan base which in return also promotes Roc B’s efforts. Soon To Launch A Clothing Line “$quad 360” In Efforts Of Breaking A Mold In The Fashion Industry As Well.
Future Goals-
To become a great artist with many talents displayed in the hopes of starting an indie label and clothing line to help broadcast and promote his personal brand. In addition he would like to have restaurants, hotels, and political involvement. Things To Know-
He spends more time in the studio than anything else. His influences include but are not limited to Jay Z, Young Jeezy, Tyrese & Usher. As a D Block indie artist he plans on working with Artist Styles P, And Pleasure P This Year. He gives all thanks to GOD for the opportunities bestowed upon him.
