My name is Rakeem Jackson, but my Artist/Preformer name is ROC. I launched my music career with a band called "StickUpKidz" (which consisted of myself & a few friends from school). We all have went our separate ways; since then I have become an Solo Artist. I have been making music within this competitive industry since age 11. I have performed on tour with DJ Young Cee, I made an Guest Appearance for a Web interview on one of the internets hottest music stations streetz106.com. July 14, 2012 Rapper/Artist Maino gives a "shout out to ROC". I've been grinding Mixtapes from datpiff.com to the street corners of Fayetteville NC. I have also been on the Coast2Coast Indie Mixtape top 50. I featured on WvSoulMag Mixtape Hosted by Rick Ross and Stalley. I have also opened a showcase for Rap sensation Gillie Da Kid. and i was considered for a roster spot on Slip-N-Slide Records
