Rocco is not sweet young and innocent. He's on the other side of 50, mean, old, and guilty. Rocco is a character with character!
They don't come any more talented then Rocco when it comes to songwriting and singing. This creative genius has a flair for words and melody like no one else in the music business. It's only a matter of time before the world comes to recognize this fact. His heart wrenching, hair raising stories of life in Brooklyn, N.Y. and throughout the United States, coupled with his gifted ability of putting those experiences into song has bought tears, laughter, applause and inspiration to the toughest and most hard hearted listeners. With songs about hobos, freight trains, demon's, angels, hookers, debutantes, sinners and saints, Rocco is a walking cliché of true Americana.
In addition to his soulful, raspy voice and catalog of over 600 original songs, Rocco performs a "One Man Band" show that absolutely blows the lid off of every concert venue at which he performs. Strange as it may seem, Rocco is Brooklyn born, however he sings country music as if he were a 'Son of the South'. He also sings blues and jazz like the legendary cats of old.
Along with singing and writing, Rocco plays a number of instruments from woodwinds to strings. He has performed all over the country from New York's Fifth Avenue to the art crowd of Catalina Island. In his travels he's crossed paths with Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. He has done gigs from Texas honky tonks to Las Vegas. He has played at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and the former Star Dust Hotel. He's performed at functions for the United Way, various children hospitals, and other charities.
