Bio
26 year old. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
She started to play in the year 2007, and has released one EP (Homonym, 2008) and one LP called “Atardecer” (Sunset/ Independent, August 2009).
This 2012 Rocío played at South by Southwest in Austin, TX. She has also played in the most important festivals in Chile, like Rock Carnaza 2010 & 2011, Cumbre del Folk 2010 & 2011, Día de la Música 2010, Ñufolk 2010, among others.
In addition to her music, Rocío is also one of creators and the founders of "Twitsessions: Música Sin Fronteras" (Music without boundaries). An Independent webshow that promotes the chilean music, using streaming tecnology, they make live shows every weekend. Twitsessions has stream more than 200 shows in one year and a half.
Twitsessions won an invitation to participate of MIDEM (Cannes, Francia) in January of 2012. Rocío represent their project in that instance.
