They have opened up for artists such as Bilal Oliver, Shekinah Glory, Kierra Kiki Sheard and have shared stage with Isaac Caree, Jessica Reedy, Mali Music, Kelly Price and many many more. Not just an ordinary band is Rock Boy Fresh, but a true exemplification of Gods creativity. Given the name Rock Boy Fresh to Joe Black in early 2011, group was initially formed with Gordon Walters & Anthony Jackson. While journeying through the ear making their name & message known, the group was revamped in 2012 with Joseph Black, Gordon Walters & Alexandra Alise as leads and adopting the band: Qorey Thornton (Keys), Larry Martin (Drummer), Josh Boyd (Guitar), Byron Walters (Bass) & accompanying background vocalists: Breanna Nicole, Reco West & Amanda Walters to complete the sound of RBF.

Inspired by various genres of music, RBF does not claim one distinctive sound. When you hear their music, you may hear a little rock, neo-soul, pop, etc...but they do not claim one sound. They produce good music with much diversity.

While witnessing R.B.F. perform, their audience definitely gets to experience firsthand the R.B.F. band in their element of energy, passion, and creativity, as they participate in a Rock movement.
