Music to suit a wide audience interest is the foundation of Rocket Surgeon. Performing popular selections from 70's classic rock to today's new releases, the band literally covers from A to Z, from Avril Lavigne to ZZ Top.
The group's song selection showcases the vocal duo of Tammy and Jamie Vrba, and sets feature their individual styles; Tammy's classic voice for Led Zeppelin and Heart, Jamie's melodic Sarah McLachlan and Norah Jones, as well as Tammy's sultry ballads and Jamie's contemporary Avril Lavigne. Rich vocal harmony abounds from the pair, plus the strong voice from guitarist Mark Woodford broadens the band's selections to include favorites from Steve Miller, Tom Petty, and Pink Floyd.
Songwriting talents of the band have introduced several original compositions into the sets; Tammy's graceful "Time", Mark's statement about conspicuous consumption in "Bigger's the American Way", and Tammy's personal reflections in "So Long."
