Black Dragon and Rockso Records International's roster aims to add more dimensions to an already vibrant musical form, soca and calypso. Whereas most current artists in that genre focus on the Carnival season with one song competing for the coverted Road March/Soca Monarch/Calypso Monarch title, we focus on year-round innovative musical output with marketing that ties into the Web 2.0 and social networks.
Our sound is meant to be unpredictable, trend-creating, visually arresting and universal in its appeal -- for example, translating our songs into Chinese!
That's what Rockso Records is about -- taking music and its marketing worldwide inna 21st century style.
