Tom Brackman began playing guitar at the age of 12. At 13, he played his first concert gig (with bandmate Louie Weaver, future drummer of Grammy award winning Christian rock group, Petra) featuring country artists Dottie West and Bill Monroe. As a member of the Kick band (Wisconsin/TN based R&R band), he did session work at the House of Cash, and Woodland Studios, recording a number of original demos with the band. Gorilla played the Hollywood circuit at clubs such as Gazarri’s, the Whiskey, the Starwood, Doug Weston’s Troubadour (1st band to break Elton John’s long-standing attendance record) and The L.A. Battle of the Bands. Tom did extensive studio work with Gorilla, to produce demos for Electra Records. After Gorilla, Tom joined Roxx, featuring former Frank Zappa bassist, Doug Lunn. After leaving Roxx, Tom moved back to Nashville, married, and took a number of years off from live performance. He returned to active gigging in 2006, with the Chillband, performing at local Franklin area clubs, weddings and corporate events. As a Chillband member, Tom played the Franklin Mainstreet Festival 3 years in a row, headlining in 2008. In 2010 Tom left the Chillband and joined Lance Pierce in forming “Rock Still Rolling

Like so many musicians John has been involved with many bands over the years ranging from Top 40 bands to backing up and coming artists as well as numerous demo sessions with other musicians as well.
