Rockwell Knuckles

Rockwell Knuckles

 St. Louis, Missouri, USA
BandHip Hop

22nd Century rap, with otherworldy beats. Catchy enough tweeners and adults would sing to unconsciencely.

Rockwell Knuckles sees himself as an artist first and his music is an extension of his existence.  With this in mind, he is determined to perform on a regular basis and generate an impressive body of work that sets him apart from current performing artists.  His superb songwriting ability can be credited by his mother’s love for musicals and his love for cartoon theme songs.  Rockwell’s musical influences include Chuck Berry, Prince, Tupac, the Beatles, Big Pun, and Journey.
He is a well established performer who has shared the stage with Lupe Fiasco, J. Cole, B.O.B., the GZA of Wu Tang Clan, and Royce Da 5’9, just to name a few.  Rockwell Knuckles is one of the few artists who has full local support from media outlets such as the St. Louis Post Dispatch, The Riverfront Times, and Hot 104.1.  Rockwell’s 2010 independent release “Choose Your Own Adventure” gathered enough attention to be an official showcase artist for SXSW Music 2010.
