Roger’s new CD, The Mercy Beat, is now available online at ,,, and at select Christian retailers. It is a collection of 12 self-penned praise and worship songs with a “British accent.”

Roger delivers a refreshing and intelligent brand of praise music. Meaningful words, infectious melodies, and beautiful harmonies set against a Beatlesque backbeat make these songs seem immediately familiar, He has been a gifted singer, musician and songwriter for decades. He is a captivating performer whose joy for his work has always been contagious. What is especially great about The Mercy BeaT is how Roger has aligned his spirituality and joy of life with his gift for music. This gift is manifested in this superb CD. And for the pure music aficionado, you will enjoy listening to a truly unique style of Christian music--one that blends past genres with the present in ways that are pleasing to the ear as well as the soul. It is the message of salvation done with the Lennon/McCartney twist! Professional musicians appreciate the music's flow; It is calming and exciting at the same time, and the timeless gospel message is SO important to spread to everyone. “Glorify The Lord With Me,” cut number three on the CD, is now being sung in Contemporary worship services in Nashville!

Raised in the Nashville area (Madison!), Roger picked up his first guitar after seeing the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. He played music with friends R. Stevie Moore and Randy Scruggs in high school. He wrote his first song at age 15, and made his first record before his 21st birthday. Roger has continued writing music throughout his life, and has had several of his secular songs recorded by other artists. He now performs either solo acoustic, or with a full band to reproduce the sounds on The Mercy Beat.

Roger is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, currently practicing at The Christian Counseling Center at Madison Church of Christ. He lives with his wife, Dawn in Gallatin, Tennessee.
