Bio
Imagine a blend of the voices and styles of Ray Price, Marty Robbins, Slim Whitman and Wilf Carter and you'll have an idea of what Roger Tibbs' performance is like. His chosen genre is country (with a touch of pop and easy-listening tunes for extra flavor) and he performs it with passion, emotion, precision and connection. His vocals are strong and engaging and his falsettos are spot-on. He works equally well as a single act as he does with his “Kiwi Country” band. He's performed at the Calgary Stampede in Alberta, Canada; on Ernest Tubb's Midnite Jamboree in Nashville, on Nashville Cowboy Church, Nashville's Station Inn, Houston's Dosey Doe Club, Nebraska's Miles of Memories Country MusicFest and many other prestigious events/venues. A native of New Zealand, he's a singer, songwriter, yodeler and first-class guitarist, whose music is magic and memorable.
