Bio
In July of 1985, the town of Bradford in the sunny north of England was thrown into turmoil and the voice of Rogue was born. Twenty one years later, after growing up on a diet of classical music fed to her by her father, and stolen CDs from her brother, here she is.
Born and raised in the North of England, the typical youngest child, Rogue has always been a passionate believer in the relationship between storytelling and music. Classically trained in both guitar and oboe, it was only in her adopted home that solo performing took over as the clear winner.
Inspired by the vibrant Irish music scene, and getting acquainted with the troubadours of the local scene - Glen Hansard, Mark Geary, Brendan O'Shea, Gemma Hayes - and the dearth of female performers, Rogue took to the stage for the first time in December 2006.
Sticking true to her storytelling routes, each gig is made more vibrant and intimate by the stories revolving around each song.
