ROTO is an American prog-rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. Nick Leach and Tyler Rhodes formed the band in 2008. They were then joined by Matt Beane and Nate Epperson.
Influenced by Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, King crimson, Opeth and Mastodon, the first album ROTO released was in 2012. Upon recording it they relised they had enough material for a quick second album 'Quantum State'.
70 minutes of music over 13 tracks, all full of instrumental passages and thoughtful vocals that remind of Opeth and Muse. Sometimes dark and very mysterious but stuck with it and you soon will be lapping it up.
ROTO will be touring South eastern USA in support of Quantum State for the rest of this year and hope to expand to the rest of the world sometime soon. - (Classic) Rock Society
Role of the Observer will have a featured interview about their latest album Quantum State in the 61st issue of Fireworks Magazine. - Fireworks Magazine- The Melodic Rock Magazine
