My name is Rollo Ellis - I was born in Detroit in 1965 - MUSIC !!
I Moved to Los Angeles in my 20's - and worked in "the business" - Lots and Lots Of MUSIC. Played in bands 14-28 - Lots of Bands. Never put down my guitar. Now I live in Rural Australia - bit of a hermit. I write and record my own Music. I have an acoustic album in the works ( SOON !) - Words never work - I can say my Music is honest, real, competant, unique and ecelctic.
On my two electric albums - I played everything It was challenging and fun but I wish I had had a band. ( working one up now -)
I dont like this part....but names I have heard include : Johnny Cash, Michael Stipe, Nick Cave, Neutral Milk Hotel, Pere Ubu, Peter Gabial, Neil Young and Tom Waits. I think I sound just like me - influenced by 40 years on life steeped in Music !
Finally 5 years ago - I remcomitted my life to my Music and have grown as a songwriter, singer, guitarist and producer.
