Bio
ROLLXX is Garrett Ottney, Mike Baker, and Josh Pelto. Formed in 2016 and based out of Minneapolis, MN, ROLLXX is a group of musicians who saw a unique opportunity to create interesting, memorable music with melodies that weave in and out of a tight and deliberate rhythm section. Formed out of the ashes of local bands The Van Gobots and Wild Ghosts, ROLLXX's music dabbles in a gamut of musical genres, mixing a blend of rock, alternative, soul, and experimental music. The music is built on a foundation of thumping, catchy bass lines which marry with intricate drums, climbing sonically with driving guitar, and raw personal lyrics. The music moves you, but the lyrics joyfully reflect and reminisce on the good times and the unfortunate. Be sure to check out ROLLXX's debut album Big Wolves, released 2018.
