Bio
My struggles fuel my progress, says ROLO, the music industrys answer to the mundane sounds that leave even new artists lost in the sea of homogenous sounds. ROLO masters a myriad of music and defies genre classifications by creating his own hodgepodge of Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae and Reggaeton that works well with his vocal range. ROLO has joined the Reggaeton movement and mastered this style while blending urban sounds of Hip Hop. Exuding charismatic energy, ROLO is an extraordinary performer whose name represents the dualism of his small frame, and grand presence in his voice and stature.
ROLO brings pure innovation to the music industry with his multifaceted abilities. The skillful artist spews rhymes and writes lyrics in both English and Spanish, and has the capacity to penetrate both markets in both Hip Hop & R&B. With so many styles under his belt, ROLO pleases his listeners by seamlessly switching between his sounds without losing his style. Born in Panama and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the relentlessly versatile ROLO performs as though hes married to his music and confident that the love affair will not only last, but will stand the test of rhyme or time. Destined to be the first internationally recognized Panamanian artist, ROLO pulls original lyrics and sounds from his own creative archives, drawing inspiration from Hip Hop icons like Biggie Smalls and Jay-Z, R&B legends such as Al Green and Earth Wind & Fire, and Reggae artists like Kafu Banton and Bounty Killer, and infuses the rhythmic flavor from his native Panama.
With a diverse menu of tracks, and a chameleon-like style, ROLOs talents will navigate him toward a territory all his own, where musicianship runs rampant and styles are endless.
