LOL!!! Woowhoo!! My teenager and I were in Tri c today. He's been asking me to take him to the Parables for sometime now to buy a cd that he has seen awhile back n he has not forgotten about it. Well today I said lets go get that cd u want. So we buy it and he pops it in the cd player. So we grab some Starbucks n head back home here to Othello. We be liking every song. Then we heard some lyrics "overlooking the Columbia River" n "509 in Tri cities" I go what the what?!?!? See we still haven't open up the jewel case. So we just did and realized you are a local Christian artist! Awesome!! We play nothing but Christian music and sing to Jesus everyday all day. It's an awesome well done cd! Strong messages! The Shepherd's Flock is an amazing praise and worship album that puts God's word into real life situations. Bio
I was introduced to music at a very young age. My mother used to sing and play the guitar when I was little. I used to love and sit there and watch her play. It fascinated me. As I got older, I started writing poetry. This poetry turned into songs. I released my first album, Mortal Struggle, when I was 20. I hit the streets and sold my album out the trunk of my car. During this time, I was using drugs and drinking a lot. I wrote a second album titled This is How We Roll, which talked about a lot of the things I was doing at that time, sex, drugs, and partying. At this time, I was doing a lot of shows and meeting a lot of people. One day I was in the studio, just finishing up my third album, which was going to be titled "False Sense of Security", when God spoke to me and said, "Lay this down for Me, like I did My life for you!" I couldn't believe what I'd just heard! I had always known of the Lord, but by no means, was I walking with the Lord. And for Him to say this to me, knowing how I was living my life, I had no choice but to follow the word of my God! So I started writing, and finished my now third album titled "Let 'Em Hear It". I was inspired to write of my testimony and how God brought me out of the drugs, alcohol, and sex ridden life I was living. I met my wife and we got married 2 summers later. As I grew in the Lord, God started moving in my life, opening doors, and I started doing youth group outreaches, car shows, Celebrate Recovery, and many community fairs. Then God blessed me with the opportunity to work with the troubled youth, at a boys ranch in Prescott, WA, where I still work today. God blessed my wife and I with a child, a beautiful baby girl, Faith. I then produced another album, "The Good News" with Gods help. This was a mixture of Hip Hop, Spoken Word, and Rap, again proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ! Once again, He directed me to my fifth album, "The Shepherds' Flock". This album was my most personal piece. It consists of more story telling, songs of my daughter, my personal relationship with Christ, and how He has influenced the positive changes in my life. That's why my music is called "Music with a Message." I don't hit you with cotton candy, I hit you with the truth! I can only pray that this music touches you the way Christ has touched me.
