Rom

Rom was born on december 11 1977 in the Philippines Islands. His family moved to the U.S. when he was 5 years old. He was raised in Northern Virginia in surrounding suburbs outside Washington D.C. At 19 Rom moved to Philadelphia to study art. He left after two years and move to Los Angeles in 2000. He immediately got involved in writing and meditation. He injured his foot and took time off from his day job. During this time he immersed himself in writing songs. Needless to say, he didnt return to the same job, song writing became a priority and the rest is history.
Finding a place in this world so that I can connect, learn, and inspire to communicate what I experience through life. The world we live in today only matters if you can find your place to expand spiritually. I find that in music. I find growth in the world. Exploring the grounds from which passionate singer-songwriters venture upon, Rom stakes his own territory in rock, folk, and soul. A grassroots voice compelled to share his music, Rom moved from a small town in Virginia to Los Angeles manifesting songs from rock to charging folk tunes. Roms songs are riveted with melodies haunted by his own seeking soul. Primitive guitar, raw, and and fine tuned lyrics results in quality songwriting delivering an allure that quenches the thirst of meaning laid on grasping melodies.
