Romarius

Romarius(Roe'Mauree-us) , often known simply as Ro-Ro, is an emerging American actor,singer, songwriter and dancer. His illustrious voice and astonishing dance moves have garnered him a great deal of press and popularity in his hometown, Chicago.

He won his first talent competition at the age of 6, singing “Candy Rain” by Soul for Real at a local talent show. He was also involved in various activities, including singing, dancing and acting, in elementary and high school, that help to cultivate his skills as an artist and a performer.

Romarius' music has been influenced by rock, R&B, soul, funk, rap, electronica, dance and pop. His artistic influences include Michael Jackson, Prince, Grace Jones and Usher. His sound, a hybrid of dance, R&B and pop, mirrors that of a few of his contemporaries, including Rihanna, Usher, Bryson Tiller and Chris Brown.

In the past few years, Romarius has taken his talents to new heights, auditioning for American Idol, The Glee Project, X-Factor and in several other dance competitions. He was even featured on BET’s 106 & Park "Wild Out Wednesday" Talent Competition, where he beat out the competition and advanced to the next round. His debut single, Day & Night is scheduled to be available through I Tunes, Tidal and every streaming service in a few weeks. His acting credits also include small roles on "The Mindy Project", Parks and Recreation, Funny or Die skits, and independent short films like "Forever Let's Dance", and "Too Legit", Starring Zoe Kravitz and Teresa Palmer.

NOW with the release of his Debut Ep Concrete Rose , with a release date of 3/22/17 , Romarius plans to bring back the feeling and soul in r&b with a mixture of pop and electronic synths and beats.
