Bio
Music and its many genres appealed to Romy since early childhood. Most of her inspiration derived from artists such as Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. Not only does she sing, but she composes her own lyrics and she recently began teaching voice to beginners with the Ottawa Vocal and Dance Performance Academy. She gained a greater love and understanding for music by recording, singing and performing at weddings, talent shows, recitals, charity events and by participating in competitions such as Ottawa Idol and Canadian Idol.
Romy is currently in the process of completing her Demo CD in the hopes of one day becoming a rising star in the music industry. She has much to offer such as diversity, life experiences, lyrical content, depth, but most importantly, passion; her passion and love for the music. "In order to succeed, I need but one instrument, MY HEART."
