Proud Montrealer and avid mango lover, RoniCea was raised in a melting pot influencing her music taste to vary from Jamiroquai to Slum Village, to Dj Quik, to Cortex, to Missy Elliot, to Esperanza Spalding..as you can tell, the list goes on. She began releasing music as therapy to help her overcome stresses in her life. Fortunately the troubling times brought forth a lovely & well received project named Orbit Thorns. AFROPUNK, is one of the blogs that agrees! Let your curious cat ears experience a soothing, chilled out jazzy vibe with a hint of funk, indie and sprinkles of hip hop while listening to her tunes.
