I am influenced by the past and present prog rock bands such as Queensryche, Savatage, Dream Theater, Styx, Kansas, etc., etc., etc. I also have strong roots in metal. Bands such as Armored Saint, Disturbed, Priest, Maiden, and the like. I try to blend these together in my own twisted way.
Ronneby started as a drummer in high school and then took up the guitar just like any other 16 year old high shool boy did in the 80's. He also played bass for various high school bands. That gave him a solid foundation to build upon. He played in cover band for most of his twenties. Most notably singing for the band Requiem. He toured the upper midwest pretty heavily. Warming up for acts such a Slave Raider, Riff Raff, and Gemini. Soon headlining their own shows to sold out crowds.
Afte a small hiatus, Ronneby started writing and recording his own music. What is posted here is the start of what one hopes would be a long and prosperous career as a songwriter.
