Biography

Biography

“Poetry and grace, with a touch of soul and rock n’ roll”. This would best describe her unique contemporary style; the music that God has put in Ronni Ward’s heart. Ronni became a singer from her earliest memory. “I have never doubted that music was my calling. It’s only natural that it would also become my service to the Lord”.
Music was a way of life for Ronni, singing in the church choir (that her mom directed) and singing harmony with her older brother and sister at home. “I remember as a child, listening to my sister harmonize with my mom as my brother played the guitar. I would just drink it all in!”
And she has never stopped making music; from playing at her own high school prom to fronting her own band to recording in Nashville to becoming a published songwriter. She also traveled around the region with “Cowtown” the group that she co-founded with her husband, Ted Ward. Ronni’s desire is to “…bless people with my voice and my songs. I hope my music will help someone who’s going through a trial or encourage someone at just the right time. I want to share God’s love in a way that someone may know they’re important to Him”.

“Like the wind in your hair, is music to the soul”.

Lyrics

Who's my enemy

Written By: Ronni Ward

WHO’S MY ENEMY

Verse: Wounds that won't heal, love that is hard to feel
Can I despise? Looking through Jesus eyes Looks that could kill I tell my lips be still Should I speak hatred to one that He created?

Chorus: Who, who is my enemy?
Someone that He died for on the cross at Calvary
Why can't I pray for you, turn the other cheek?
I just might be my own enemy
Verse: I question why, He will allow this trial
This is how mustard seeds turn into sturdy trees
Chorus
Bridge: Just like a storm it can take you down
Stand on the sand you're gonna fall
Lord set my feet upon the rock of compassion

I wanna be the way you are
Chorus

Everything

Written By: Ronni Ward

Everything

Rising at the break of dawn

Listen to the voice of God

Helping me to carry on

Quietly I meditate shaking off this heavy weight

Helping me to live each day

Chorus: And I will go where you lead

I’m yours to keep, created for your pleasure

And for this treasure, I’ll give everything, yeah

Breaking me like crashing waves

Feeding my soul all it craves

Love despite my selfish ways

Walking out into the sun, teaching me to love my own

Helping me to see beyond

Chorus: And I will go where you lead

I’m yours to keep, created for your pleasure

And for this treasure, I’ll give everything

Yes I’ll give everything, everything

‘Cause you gave me everything
