Feeling a bit camera shy

Ron's performing career started at an early age of five years old. He and his family were regularly seen performing around the community for various events. It was only natural for him to sign up for private piano lessons when the opportunity presented itself. He soon discovered that he had a gift for writing music which became his focus in several of his future musical endeavors.

Ron soon became interested in other instruments. First, the bass guitar. Then the electric guitar and percussion. Having these versatile skills, Ron started his first rock band when he was 13 years old. Although it didn't last long, by the time he was 15 years old, he began performing in clubs around the upstate NY area. Most of the music was originally composed by the band where Ron was always an integral part of the composition. By the end of his high school career, his band "Obstreperous" was gigging regularly in the upstate NY area.

After high school, Ron went away to college at SUNY Fredonia and majored in Music Education and Piano Performance. He studied privately with world touring concert pianist, Robert Jordan. Ron kept himself very busy during his college years taking advantage of every opportunity he could including private music composition lessons and electronic music composition courses. During his senior year, Ron won the annual concerto competition and was awarded a special performance of Tchaikovsky’s 1st Piano concerto with symphony orchestra.

Upon the completion of his undergraduate degree, Ron began teaching full time, started working on a Master's Degree in Music Technology from Indiana University, and formed his most successful band, Special Unit 2. Ron played keyboards in Special Unit 2 providing a unique twist to the rock genre.

Recently, Ron had finished his Masters Degree and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. You can hear Ron's music played in retail electronic and appliance stores across the U.S. as supporting music to the videos played on the wall of TVs.

Ron spends his time writing new music and teaching private piano lessons in the metro Atlanta area.
